See Who Doesn't Follow You Back on Instagram

Instagram will tell you whether one person follows you. It won't tell you about all of them. This extension compares your following list against your follower list and shows you the whole gap — in your browser, in one click.

What the results give you

✓ Every non-follower listed

✓ Newest follow first

✓ Filter by name or handle

✓ Verified and private badges

✓ Click through to profiles

✓ Full list as CSV

Doesn't Instagram already show this?

Not as a list. Open someone's profile and Instagram shows a "Follows you" badge if they follow you — but that is one profile at a time. Your following list can be sorted into categories like "Least interacted with", which people often use as a rough stand-in, but that measures your engagement with them, not whether they follow you.

If you follow 800 accounts and want to know which of them never followed back, Instagram's answer is to open 800 profiles. The comparison is simple — it just isn't exposed anywhere in the app.

That is the entire job of this extension: pull both lists, compare them by account ID, and show you the difference.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute

1
Install

Add the extension to Chrome in one click. No sign-up, no account, no configuration.

2
Run the check

With Instagram open in a tab, click the extension icon and press "Find who doesn't follow back".

3
Review the list

Filter it, click through to any profile, or download the whole thing as a CSV. You decide what to do next.

Why this approach is different

Your lists stay in your browser

No credentials shared

Most non-follower apps ask you to log in to their service with your Instagram account. This one doesn't. It uses the browser session you already have — no password, no token, no third-party account.

Read-only, always

The extension reads two lists and compares them. It never follows, unfollows, likes, posts, or changes anything on your account — mass-unfollowing is exactly the behaviour that gets accounts action-blocked.

The comparison happens locally

Both lists are fetched into your browser and diffed there. Neither your follower list nor your following list is uploaded to any server, including ours.

Works at any scale

Both lists are paginated automatically with a live counter. Because it reads two lists rather than one, expect it to take about twice as long as a plain follower export.

What to do with the list

The obvious move is to unfollow everyone on it. That is usually the wrong one. Bulk unfollowing in a short window is one of the clearest automation signals Instagram looks for, and it is a common route to an action block. If you do unfollow, do it slowly and by hand.

The more useful reading is diagnostic. A long non-follower list usually means follow-for-follow isn't working for you — you are spending follows to buy attention that never arrives. Accounts that grow steadily tend to do the opposite: they get in front of the right people first and let the follow come from the other side.

That is what AutoGram automates. Instead of following people and hoping, it likes posts from your target audience so they discover you, and tracks how many of them follow back. Same goal, opposite direction, and no unfollowing required.
